Congratulations to Brandon Kinnaird, the winner of the prize draw for June, a set of two orange Luba spoke flashing lights, valued at $29.80. A niftly little light, they clip to your spokes for safety or just to stand out from the crowd at night events and the daily commute.

Luba spoke LED lights are available in 5 different colours: White, Orange, Red, Blue and Green and come with a spare set of batteries (i.e. two sets) worth about $6, and cost just $14.90 each.
All customers who make a purchase this month can enter the draw for a 100ml bottle of Joe's Nano Chain Lube.

This lube is is designed for wet conditions and contains microscopic “nano” spheres. These nano spheres act like tiny ball bearings to reduce friction and improve the durability of your chain. Joe's Nano Lube can also be used with cables and derailleurs – at last, one lube for all the regular maintenance items on your bike! |

A large Palmy contingent went up to Rotorua for the first round of this winter's N Duro series. The rain held off, but a wet week prior lead to very muddy conditions by Rotorua standards. A good time was had by all, although the single speeders, including Ben Somerton (in a narrow 2nd place behind NZ Champ Garth Weinberg) and Phil E, enjoyed smoother drive train performance than those with gears. It was great to see the Crank It colours out there!

A huge acheivement by these young guys. They were a lot younger and up against stiff competition. As well as second in their grade by a small margin, they were 16th overall! We're proud to be associated with this keen group of guys who are under the guidance of Ross Castle. Ross is also involved in driving the TASC Force, a cycling initiative for intermediate-aged kids based in Ashhurst.
