The Jill@ReMax K-Loop Krusties have taken a 2nd place podium spot at the Jamis Day Night Thriller in Taupo for the second year running.
After a closely fought and good spirited battle with the team from the neighbouring Pedal Pushers Lads tent, the Jill@ReMax K-Loop Krusties put in a solid effort in the last 2 hours to take 2nd place in the Older Dudes category with the Lads in 3rd. Although the results give the Krusties an extra lap, the margin was only a few minutes, with the lads not having enough time to get an extra lap in.
The Jill@ReMax K-Loop Krusties thank Jill Meyer of ReMax real estate and Crank It Cycles for sponsoring the team, which includes Crank It Cycles owners John and Phil.

Other local teams well were 3 person mixed team "Eye Spie" and juniors "Scuba Steves". Eye Spie, comprising Crank It part-timer Benn Cobham, Mike Kelly and Kelly Fogden (former Palmy student Pack'n'Pedal staff member) who came 2nd in the Mixed 3 person category.

The juniors, the oldest 15, came 4th, a very creditable performance being up against the country's top riders, all a couple of years or more older.
