Designed from scratch as a 29er, this is a sweet-handling well-engineered bike. Short, beefy head tube, 15mm front thru-axle and custom deep dish rims, all to maintain the stiff, responsive ride riders have come to expect from the XTC series. Check out these other features: Curved seat tube to shorten the wheelbase for snappy 26"-like handling; Shimano 29er rear hub with beefed up freehub to handle the extra torque produced by the 36T low gear and big wheels; 1.9" tyres for faster rolling - 29ers already have plenty of grip thanks to the increased contact patch of the larger diameter wheels.
