Mountain Bikers will be familiar with Stan's Notubes technology. Now, teamed up with Hutchison tubeless tyres, Stan has brought all the advantages of Mt Bike tubeless tyres and his famous light rims and wheels to the world of road cycling.

Briefly the advantages are:

• Light (1200-1430g/set incl valves and rim tape)
• Low rolling resistance (i.e. fast!)
• Lower pressures with no performance loss (more comfortable ride, better handling)
• No more pinch flats and punctures

The only way you'll get a flat with these wheels is a huge cut to the tyre. Small punctures (from glass, etc) and pinch flats (from hitting a sharp object or pot hole) are the most common type, and the proven sealant used in this system seals these as you ride, sometimes without the rider noticing.
